Power Apps
- An invoice app trained to recognize and extract invoice data based on field then applied against a folder of invoices automatically saved from emails.
- Mobile-friendly app for plant teams to update railcar movements (placed, pulled, switched).
- Real-time form for line supervisors to log causes of downtime (e.g. Line1, Line2)
Power Automate
- Emails customized freight reports from SharePoint to internal teams weekly—no more manual file-pulling or version mix-ups.
- Automatically download multiple times a day reports for BI and other analysis tools.
- Moves SAP-generated PDFs from Outlook attachments directly into the correct SharePoint folders, tagged by date and plant.
Python
- Automates extraction and formatting to merge and model large scale complex data such as contracts with shifting terms, retroactive pricing, and multi-line freight conditions
- Runs regression analysis on historical freight costs to forecast future margins.
- Builds and iterates layered data models, such as bill of material/component usage, using local server apps accessible to non-technical users.
